Mark Zuckerberg is taking two months off to spend time with his second daughter

Mark Zuckerberg runs one of the most valuable companies in the world. But he's not letting them stop him from spending time with his children.

The CEO of Facebook is taking two months of paternity leave when his second daughter is born, Zuckerberg announced via a Facebook post Friday. He also took two months off when his first daughter Maxima, or "Max," was born in November 2015.

This time, he will be dividing the two months off in two parts. He will take the first month at the beginning and then take the month of December off.

"I'm looking forward to bonding with our new little one and taking Max on adventures," Zuckerberg wrote in the Facebook post.

The post includes a picture of Zuckerberg's daughter Max with his dog Beast.

Facebook offers four months maternity leave and paternity leave to its employees, which they can take throughout the next year.

Over the last year, Zuckerberg has already spent a lot of time outside the office. His New Year's resolution for 2017 was to visit every state in America. That personal challenge has drawn some to predict that Zuckerberg will run for president in 2020, as he meets with people from all walks of life.

It's unclear who will take up Zuckerberg's duties when he's gone. Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg often champions Zuckerberg's decisions within the company and personally, via her Facebook page.

Regardless, Zuckerberg seems confident of Facebook's future.

"At Facebook, we offer four months of maternity and paternity leave because studies show that when working parents take time to be with their newborns, it's good for the entire family. And I'm pretty sure the office will still be standing when I get back," he wrote.
