I am working with WSO2 IS 5.3.0. In our userstore (LDAP) our attributes are stored in all uppercase. This has not been an issue for us until now. When I try to get SAML authentication to work with a particular product (Unidata 8.1) the username is not found due to it being transmitted in uppercase. I have proven this by creating a test account where the cn attribute is stored in lowercase. There is no way that our NAs will update all the attributes across AD to get this issue resolved so I am looking for an alternate method.
I tried using the parameter referenced in this link for username case insensitivity but it does not work (True or False). https://wso2.org/jira/browse/IDENTITY-3311
Is there any way that I can force WSO2 Identity to send at least the cn attribute as lowercase? Thanks in advance for any help that is provided.
