I have a database that generates millions of records per hour and I want to create a "summary" database that will keep important metrics aggregated to a day. This is to make it easier to do analytics and reporting especially for trending.
I was thinking of using Python to do these jobs.
Are there better tools for this?
If I go with Python should I bother with SQLAlchemy?
