I am developing an application which needs to use the hardware 3D acceleration capability in the am335x processor in the BeagleBone Black. So I am looking for a recipe to build a linux kernel and filesystem, and compile a simple full-screen demo application from source.
I've been attempting to use the instructions at http://eewiki.net/display/linuxonarm/BeagleBone+Black but after several failed attempts I thought I would ask if anyone can recommend a recipe that "just works".
In particular, I'll need these details:
- which kernel version branch in particular do you have working?
- how to build the SGX modules?
- how to build an application against the TI Graphics SDK?
I may just need a pep talk from someone who's been there and done it before. What recipe do you know works?
