Laravel excel Import when header have merged cells

It seams that http://www.maatwebsite.nl/laravel-excel/docs can't figure out how to handle simple merged cells.

Importing excel file like this:

Excel::load($tmp_path, function($reader) 
 $reader->dd();
)->get();
